Four pathways to permanent residence in Nova Scotia.
Pick the program that fits your situation. Each page tells you who qualifies, who doesn’t, and exactly how I’d guide you through it.
Start with where you are.
If you’re not sure where to begin, pick the one that describes you best β we’ll point you to the right program.
I’m a worker
Your fastest route depends on whether your prospective employer is AIP-designated. If yes, AIP is usually the right tool. If not, NSNP Skilled Worker is the standard alternative.
I’m a student / recent graduate
If you’ve graduated from a Nova Scotia post-secondary institution, your route depends on your field of study and your post-graduation job. AIP and NSNP Skilled Worker are open across most occupations; NSNP International Graduate is specific to four healthcare and ECE roles.
I’m an entrepreneur
If you have business ownership or senior management experience and intend to actively acquire/operate a business in Nova Scotia, NSNP’s Entrepreneur stream is the dedicated provincial route.
All four programs, side by side.
Each card links to a full breakdown β eligibility, process, honest disqualifiers, and FAQs.
Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP)
Permanent residence through a job offer from a designated Atlantic Canadian employer. Often the fastest route for skilled workers and recent graduates already connected to a Nova Scotia employer.
See AIP details βNSNP β Skilled Worker Stream
Provincial nomination for skilled workers with a permanent, full-time job offer in Nova Scotia. A strong route when AIP doesn’t fit but you still have an NS employer.
See NSNP-SW details βNSNP β Entrepreneur Stream
For experienced business owners or senior managers who want to actively operate a business in Nova Scotia and apply for permanent residence after meeting performance milestones.
See NSNP-Entrepreneur details βNSNP β International Graduate
Provincial nomination for international graduates of Nova Scotia post-secondary institutions working in four high-demand occupations: paramedicals, pharmacy technicians, nurse aides & patient service associates, and early childhood educators & assistants.

That’s normal β and it’s exactly what a 15-minute consultation is for. I’ll listen to your situation and tell you which program (if any) you’re a real candidate for, before you spend a dollar.
